Features of the Political Process in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (1997-2021)

The article contains analysis of political transformations in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR) 1997-2021 aiming to identify its process’ features within framework «one country, two systems» model. A brief description Kong’s life events preceding decades is given, which reflects key tendencies socio-political development under British colonial rule. It stated that establishing new order SAR by PRC, intended form a more accountable administrative model, realized using traditional Chinese scheme, implies China’s unconditional dominance and control over local administrations’ activity.
